Our Story
Our mission goes beyond just serving wholesome, flavorful, and clean meals—we aim to reconnect people with the joy of sharing a meal together, something that often feels lost in today’s fast-paced world. In an era where many of us settle for quick, convenience-based meals in front of screens—whether it’s TV, YouTube, or social media—we want to remind people of the power of taking time to nourish both the body and the soul.
For us, food is more than just sustenance; it’s an opportunity to slow down, enjoy each other’s company, and truly connect. Growing up in a Greek-American family, dinner was always the heart of our evening routine. It wasn’t just about the food—it was a time to come together, share stories, and reconnect after a busy day. Family dinner was a cherished tradition, a cornerstone of our lives.
During the summer of 2020, when many of us found ourselves with extra time at home, my mother turned to her kitchen. Her passion for cooking, especially Greek cuisine, inspired her to share that love with our community in Mountain Brook, Alabama. What started as a simple idea quickly blossomed—within weeks, people were lining up outside our home every Wednesday for freshly prepared Greek dishes like chicken, gyros, salad, and spanakopita. What began as a hobby soon grew into a beloved weekly tradition, reinforcing the idea that food has the power to bring people together in the most meaningful way.
